Summary

​Spray drones are gaining popularity among cotton growers. Custom application business with spray drones have emerged in many states in the US. This presentation focuses on how spray drones can be utilized to apply PGR and defoliants in cotton. Field study results and variable rate application of PGR will also be discussed in this presentation.

About the Presenter

Steve Li Steve Li is an extension professor in College of Agriculture of Auburn University. He is also the team leader of the extension agronomic crop team of Auburn University. His research and extension program focuses on applied weed management in row crops, pesticide off-target movement, new application technology, utilizing drones to apply pesticides, and precision application workflows.
