About the Presenter

Simerjeet Virk Simerjeet Virkis an assistant professor and Extension precision agriculture specialist at the University of Georgia. He has an MS in biosystems engineering from Auburn University and a PhD in agricultural engineering from the University of Georgia. Dr. Virk’s research and Extension program focuses on evaluating the latest precision ag technologies for precision application and placement of crop inputs and providing research-based information on technology adoption and effective implementation to producers to maximize crop productivity and overall farm profitability.
