Robert Kemerait is a professor of plant pathology at the University of Georgia, Tifton. His Extension and research program focuses on the diseases and plant-parasitic nematodes that affect cotton, peanuts, soybeans, and corn. His Extension efforts are focused on providing timely, research-based recommendations to growers, UGA Extension agents, and consultants for disease and nematode management on crops in Georgia and the southeastern United States. Kemerait has a BS in biology from Davidson College (NC), a BS in chemistry from the University of Florida, and a PhD in plant pathology from the University of Florida.
