William E. Snyder is a professor of entomology at the University of Georgia, Athens. Work in his lab addresses finding natural solutions to problems in species conservation, sustainable agriculture, and human health with the goal of reducing the conflict between species conservation and feeding a growing human population. Snyder has a BA in biology from the University of Delaware, an MS in zoology (ecology) from Clemson University, and a PhD in entomology from the University of Kentucky.
