​This presentation reports findings from a study about the accumulation of pesticides in soils and the direct and indirect adverse effects on soil life, sometimes for decades. The specific goal is to examine herbicide persistence in soil 4 months and more after application.

​Khusboo Agrawal ​Khusboo Agrawal is a master’s student in the Department of Plant and Soil Science at Texas Tech University. Her research focus is the assessment of residual herbicide levels under conventional and conservational land management practices. She is a 2024 WTACI scholarship award winner.
