Summary

​This presentation reports findings from a study for which the objective was to assess cotton seed cultivar germination by evaluating seed performance in laboratory and field conditions under varying temperature scenarios. Time, depth, and temperature data are provided from 2023 and 2024.

About the Presenter

Zelalem AlemarZelalem Alemar is a PhD student in the Department of Plant and Soil Science at Texas Tech University. His research focus is to approach cotton seed germination through warm and cool tests, field germination, and seed size analysis. He is a 2024 WTACI scholarship award winner.
