A. Stanley Culpepper is a Professor in the Crop and Soil Science Department at The University of Georgia. A native of North Carolina, he grew up on a bicentennial family farm producing cotton, peanut, soybean, and wheat. He received his BS in Agronomy from NC State University in 1993. His MS and PhD were also obtained at NC State University in weed science under the direction of Dr. Alan York in 1996 and 1999, respectively. Stanley began his professional career at The University of Georgia as a cotton, vegetable, and small grain weed scientist in 1999, and continues with those same responsibilities today.
