Don Cook received his BS from Northeast Louisiana University (now University of Louisiana at Monroe) and his MS in Agronomy and PhD in Entomology from Louisiana State University. He worked as a research associate and post-doctoral researcher with the LSU AgCenter for thirteen years, during which he completed his PhD Don worked as an extension entomologist in Northeast Mississippi for two years at the Northeast Mississippi Research and Extension Center at Verona. He currently is an entomologist at the MSU Delta Research and Extension Center at Stoneville working on insect pest management issues primarily in corn and soybeans, but also with cotton, rice, and stored grain insect pests.
