Jeff Miller earned a BS degree in Botany–Biotechnology from BYU in 1994 and then went on to complete MS and PhD degrees in Plant Pathology at Washington State University, working on potato late blight. Jeff worked for 2 years at the University of Minnesota and 6 years at the University of Idaho in Aberdeen, where he conducted research on potato pink rot, powdery scab, early blight, late blight, black dot, Rhizoctonia, and Verticillium wilt. Jeff now operates his own business, Miller Research, with his father Terry Miller, conducting research on crop production, pest management, and chemical efficacy and safety.
