​Data continue to have increased importance for agriculture. Traditional sources of data have included soil type/test, yield, fertilizer application, seeding/planting, machine health/productivity, and chemical application. Effective applications of data identify needed changes and inform decision making, resulting in actions such as operating machines at maximum efficiency.
