About the Presenter

Erick LarsonErick Larson has served as the statewide Extension Corn Specialist in Mississippi since 1995 and is an associate professor at Mississippi State University. Dr. Larson received a PhD from the University of Nebraska and BS and MS degrees from Kansas State University. During Dr. Larson’s tenure in Mississippi, corn has surpassed cotton in acreage and yields have increased 47%.
